Earth pigments are naturally occurring colours derived from minerals and clays found in the earth. Artists have been using earth pigments for the last 40,000 years to create paintings and images.
I have embraced some of these ancient techniques by creating paintings using earth pigments on fabrics. I subsequently embellish these fabric designs with hand stitching.
